Six premiered at the Fringe Festival in Edinburgh in 2017. The show was such a success that it was quickly staged in London in 2017 and then in New York in 2021. The musical was entirely conceived by two Cambridge University students: Toby Marlow and Lucy Moss. The phenomenal success of Six has propelled the two young artists to musical comedy stardom.
Six gives voice and identity to the six wives of Henry VIII. It transforms 500 years of pain and male domination into a celebration of women's power in the 21st century.
