Josh and Melissa go hiking in the hope of reviving their drifting couple. But their getaway takes an unexpected turn when they find themselves stuck in the magical city of Schmigadoon, where the inhabitants live like in a musical: they sing at the slightest emotion and transform every moment into a choreographed number!
To hope to leave this magical but strange universe, Josh and Melissa will have to find... true love.

Schmagadoon! is the musical adaptation of the TV series that was itself inspired by Brigadoon, a musical of the golden age. The booklet, lyrics and music of Schmigadoon! were written by Cinco Paul, who is known for working on the scripts of the first three Despicable Me movies.
The show, finally performed in New York, is a love letter to the musicals of the golden age. More than a tribute, it is a reinterpretation of one of the great classics of the genre, which will leave you a "song in the heart" (The New York Times)... if you manage to get out!
