Set to open in 2022, the Museum of Broadway will be the first museum entirely dedicated to the history of Broadway theater and its impact on New York City, particularly the iconic Midtown and Times Square neighborhoods. The museum showcases 300 years of New York theater history and features costumes, props, and artifacts from over 500 legendary shows.
The museum features 2,400 square meters of interactive exhibition space divided into three distinct areas, each offering an immersive experience.
The Map Room: This first space plunges visitors into the excitement of today's Broadway. A wall covered in playbills of current shows awaits you, accompanied by a short film tracing the history of theater in New York.
The Broadway Timeline: A fascinating exploration of the evolution of New York theater through the decades. Each landmark show has its own interactive room, which is ideal for taking spectacular photos and reliving classics such as Showboat, Oklahoma!, West Side Story, Hair, Company, A Chorus Line, Rent and The Producers. There is also a special section that pays tribute to British shows, with a particular focus on the works of Andrew Lloyd Webber.
The Making of a Show: This section highlights all the professions involved in producing a Broadway show. It gives you a behind-the-scenes look at the theater world. It's a rare opportunity to discover lesser-known but essential professions that contribute to the magic of Broadway.
In addition to its exceptional exhibits, the Museum of Broadway has a shop where you'll find unique souvenirs to give as gifts or collect yourself!

Depending on the venue, you'll be offered several ways to get your tickets during payment:
- Collect my tickets at the venue. Please come to the box office counters at the venue 30 minutes before the performance begins with the booking confirmation email. You'll be asked to show ID or the bank card of the person who booked the tickets.
- Send me my tickets by email. Go directly to the entrance 20 minutes before the start of the performance with your PDF tickets (printed or displayed on mobile).
We accept most bank cards via our secure payment system (Visa, Mastercard, American Express).
Ticket prices are set by venues and productions. Even though the majority of musicals are suitable for children, there is no preferential child ticket.
Tickets cannot be exchanged or refunded unless in the event of force majeure (the performance is cancelled or interrupted). If this is the case, the venue or event organiser will contact you to begin the refund process.
